Procedure for obtaining a free ring wheelchair:

  1. If you are not applying in person, but through another person, a power of attorney for the medical expert commission is required. The power of attorney does not need to be notarized.
  2. Medical protocol from the medical expert commission for the profile of the illness.
  3. Within 7 days of the issuance of the protocol, you will receive approval from the Regional Health Insurance Fund (RHIFF) – number and date – which will be communicated to you by phone via Viber / SMS.
  4. You inform us of the approval received from the RHIFF and receive your allocated wheelchair.
  5. They are granted for 4 years, after which you can reapply using the same procedure.
  6. Within the period of use, you are entitled to targeted assistance for repairs, tires, and bearings.
