Moretti Mopedia AU123 74 cm Reaching Aid
Moretti Mopedia AU123 is a reaching aid designed to make reaching, gripping and moving objects easier for people with reduced hand or finger mobility. Its 74 cm length reduces the need to bend down, overreach or climb onto an unstable support.

How it works
The user holds the handle and carefully positions the gripping head around the object. Pressing the trigger closes the head. After moving the object, the trigger is released carefully to place it in the required position.
The AU123 has a fixed gripping head. The official manual does not specify a rotating head, magnet, hook or locking mechanism for this model.
Materials and construction
The main structure is made from anodised aluminium with plastic components. The gripping head has an anti-slip rubber surface. Moretti's current technical data sheet specifies ABS for the handle, while the model-specific section of the manual specifies PP and TPR. The trigger is described in the manual as PP.

Safe-use instructions
- Inspect the mechanical and moving parts for wear or damage before use.
- Do not attempt to lift objects weighing more than 2 kg.
- Lift and move objects slowly without sudden movements.
- Make sure the object is held securely before lifting it.
- Do not use the reaching aid as body support or as an aid when standing up.
- Consult a doctor or therapist regarding correct use when necessary.
- Use only original spare parts and authorised servicing if repairs are required.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the reaching aid using a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry it thoroughly before use. A common neutral disinfectant may be used when disinfection is required.
Do not use acidic or alkaline products, acetone, thinners or other aggressive solvents. Store the product away from strong light, heat sources and moisture. Moretti recommends inspection by the manufacturer or an authorised service centre every two years.
