Procedure for obtaining a free anti-decubitus mattress:

  1. If you are not applying in person, but through another person, a power of attorney is required for the LKK (Local Medical Commission) and NHIF (National Health Insurance Fund). The power of attorney does not need to be notarized.
  2. Medical protocol from the LKK for the specific illness.
  3. Within 7 days of the protocol's issuance, you will receive approval from the RHIF (Regional Health Insurance Fund) - a number and date - which will be communicated to you by phone via Viber / SMS message.
  4. You inform us of the approval received from the RHIF and receive your allocated anti-decubitus mattress.
  5. It is issued for 3 years, after which you can reapply through the same procedure.
