Detailed description
The Variteks 908 thigh-high anti-embolism stocking with belt provides Class I medical anti-embolism compression of 15–20 mmHg. It is clinically designed to support venous return and help prevent thrombosis before, during and after surgical procedures.
The model is also suitable for medical conditions requiring prolonged bed rest and before, during and after childbirth when prescribed by a healthcare professional.
The stocking covers one leg up to the thigh and is secured at the waist with an adjustable belt. Separate versions are available for the left and right leg. The inspection opening around the toes provides access to the foot without removing the entire stocking.
Variteks 908 is made from original LYCRA® and supersoft multifilament yarns, providing elasticity, a close fit and comfortable wear. The product is available in white. The price is for one piece.

Size selection and use
Correct sizing and selecting the correct version for the left or right leg are important for achieving the intended compression and proper fit. Select the size according to the manufacturer’s exact sizing chart.
Put the stocking on in the morning before getting out of bed. If it is removed during the day, rest the leg for approximately 10–15 minutes before putting it on again. A small amount of talcum powder or baby powder may be used to make application easier.
Open wounds must be covered with a sterile dressing before the stocking is applied. Use the product only when recommended and according to the instructions of a healthcare professional.
