Detailed description
The Variteks 118 posture and spinal alignment corrector draws the shoulders back and supports the upper back. It encourages a more upright body position and helps limit forward rounding of the shoulders.
The design covers the shoulders and upper back. Adjustable elastic straps pass underneath the arms and meet at the centre of the back, allowing the level of tension to be adapted to the individual user.
The product may be used for poor posture and as part of a medically prescribed treatment programme for spinal alignment problems. It can also support immobilisation and correct positioning following clavicle or shoulder-blade fractures when recommended by a healthcare professional.
Variteks 118 is intended for adults. A separate children’s version is available. The price is for one piece.

Size selection and use
Correct sizing is important for appropriate support and comfort. Select the size according to the manufacturer’s sizing chart. The corrector should draw the shoulders back without causing excessive pressure, numbness or difficulty breathing.
Position the support so that the padded sections cover the shoulders and the straps sit symmetrically. Increase the tension gradually. Do not overtighten the product or wear it for extended periods without allowing time for adaptation.
For spinal alignment problems or fractures of the clavicle or shoulder blade, use the product only following examination and advice from a healthcare professional. The corrector does not replace prescribed treatment, rehabilitation or therapeutic exercises.
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging regarding application, washing and product care.
