Pedag Correct 129 Corrective Heel Wedges

Pedag Correct 129 corrective heel wedges are designed to gently compensate for misalignment of the rearfoot. Their anatomical shape provides additional biomechanical support, stabilises the heel and helps distribute pressure more evenly while walking.

Uneven wear on the heels and soles of footwear may indicate a tilted ankle joint axis. The wedges can be used in cases of excessive pronation, where the foot rolls inwards, or excessive supination, where the foot rolls outwards. The correct placement direction depends on the specific misalignment.

The upper is made from vegetable-tanned genuine sheepskin leather, while the underside features a lightly cushioned latex pad. The wedge-shaped construction has an approximate height of 8 mm at its raised edge. A self-adhesive area keeps each wedge securely positioned inside the shoe.

Positioning instructions

• For excessive supination and wear along the outer edge of the shoe, position the raised side towards the outside of the heel.
• For excessive pronation and wear along the inside of the heel, position the raised side towards the inside.
• Place the wedges as far back as possible inside the shoes and confirm their correct position before removing the protective film.

Important: The direction of correction must be determined correctly. Consult an orthopaedic specialist if you experience pain, have a pronounced deformity or are unsure about the correct positioning.

Care instructions

Do not soak or wash the wedges. Carefully clean the leather surface with a suitable genuine leather care product. Store them in a dry and well-ventilated place.
